Boomerang d’O Século is founded as part of the mission of Fundação O Século, an institution with a long history of social engagement that uses social and sustainable tourism as a tool to support its charitable activities.
The revenue generated by the Foundation’s tourist accommodations directly contributes to funding social, educational, and community projects, promoting inclusion, training, and local development.
Within this framework, Boomerang d’O Século has established an institutional partnership with Fundação ADFP (Assistance, Development, and Professional Training), a nationally recognized organization in the social sector, with projects focused on inclusion, environmental sustainability, and territorial enhancement.
Both Fundação O Século and Fundação ADFP develop hospitality units that share a common vision: using the hotel sector as a means to generate positive social impact while ensuring the financial sustainability of their missions.
Fundação O Século
- Turismo do Século (Estoril) – a tourist unit integrated within the Foundation’s facilities, with a social mission and a focus on inclusive tourism.
- Boomerang d’O Século – Ericeira – a unit aimed at families, surfers, and digital nomads, with all revenue supporting the Foundation’s social activities.
